The School of Spiritual Warfare is designed for all believers, whether new to the faith or in ministry. They will learn that engaging in spiritual warfare will add a new dimension to their relationship with God. Believers who are struggling in their spiritual life will gain understanding how sin bondages develop and how they can be broken. They will also learn how to effectively pray for friends and loved ones to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Pastors and counselors will gain new tools to assist others in removing strongholds.
The School of Spiritual Warfare is intended to equip believers with the tools they need to not only stand strong against spiritual attack, but to grow in their faith and in ministry.
Some believe that to engage in spiritual warfare requires a vast amount of knowledge and that only mature Christians should dare engage in spiritual warfare. Both beliefs are false. Those most likely to benefit from engaging in spiritual warfare are believers who are struggling in their spiritual life or are in bondage to sins which they have never been able to overcome.
Others will gain a rich understanding of how to effectively pray for friends and loved ones to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. By the grace and mercy of God, those who complete the training will also have the knowledge and confidence to assist others in direct confrontation of the powers of darkness.
Topic 1 describes the difference between the penalty of sin and the power of sin. It explains the requirements to receive God’s offer of a pardon. It also shares how sin bondages are developed and the steps to break those bondages.
Topic 2 describes the collision of the two spiritual kingdoms, the Kingdom of Satan and the Kingdom of God. It explains the believer’s three enemies: the world, the flesh, and the devil. It presents a balanced viewpoint about Satan and demons; sharing the reality of demonic power but cautioning against blaming every sin or trial on Satan.
Topic 3 describes the difference between the Holy Spirit residing in the believer and the Holy Spirit filling every area of his or her life. It explains the necessary steps to be filled with the Holy Spirit, types of experiences in the Holy Spirit, and evidence of the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Topic 4 describes the sin nature and why everyone is born with a propensity to sin in various areas. It explains how the saved receive a new nature even though sin can still dominate their life. However, the believer now has the power to overcome temptation because of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Finally, it shares the necessary steps to overcoming temptation.
Topic 5 describes each piece of the Armor of God including the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, gospel shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. It explains how each piece can be practically used by the believer to achieve victory in spiritual warfare.
Topic 6 describes the types of angels mentioned in the Bible including Cherubin, Archangels, and Seraphim. It explains their characteristics, how they are immortal, emotional, numerous, and powerful. It provides insight into the ministry of angels including delivering messages, praising God, bringing believers to heaven, executing God’s wrath, and their involvement with children. It also shares how holy angels battle demon spirits in the spiritual realms.
Topic 7 describes the purpose of the blood of Jesus Christ including forgiveness from sin, delivering from God’s wrath, cleansing from sin, providing direct access to God, and severing the believer’s relationship with Satan. It also explains how to correctly “plead the blood” of Jesus Christ so that it can be an effective weapon against the powers of darkness.
Topic 8 explains how Satan is an actual spiritual being. It describes Satan’s rebellion against God, his knowledge, power, and organization. It provides insight into Satan’s future judgement. Finally, it shares that Satan can never separate the believer from God’s love.
Topic 9 describes that Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God and the believer is seated positionally “in Christ.” It explains several practical purposes of the believer’s authority over the powers of darkness including binding demon spirits who tempt the believer. It provides insight how the authority of the believer can also be used to bind demon spirits who blind a person from understanding the Gospel, who steal the Word of God from a person’s heart, and who thwart ministry. Finally, it shares how the authority can be used to remove demon spirits from a person and send them to the pit.
Topic 10 describes how demonic bondages develop. It explains whether a born-again Christian can be demon possessed. It also provides insight into how demons may be able to exert partial control over areas in the believer’s life. Finally, it describes objective and subjective evidence of a demonic presence.
Topic 11 describes the scope of Satan’s activity on the earth. It provides an in-depth analysis of demonic activity regarding physical illness, mental illness, the spiritual influence of music, communication with deceased persons, demons inhabiting homes, and supernatural manifestations. It also shares passages in the Bible describing demonic activity involving blinding minds, preventing people from understanding the Word of God, false religions, false doctrine, planting doubt, accusing, lying and deception, sexual temptation, jealousy, selfish ambition, trials, hindering ministry, false disciples, devouring, supernatural strength, and occult practices.
Topic 12 provides a biblical analysis of demon spirits afflicting children. It provides an analysis of one popular theory that demon spirits can be transferred from past generations so that individuals can have demonic bondages in their life, not only as a result of their personal unrepented sin, but also because of the unrepented sins of relatives in their past generations. Finally, it shares that the authority of the believer is sufficient to break any demonic bondage in a child or adult, regardless of whether there is a logical explanation on how the bondage originated.
Topic 13 describes recommended steps that should be taken prior to confronting a demon spirit in another person. It provides specific prayers and commands that should be made when actually confronting a demon spirit. It explains the necessary steps to break a spiritual bondage. It provides insight into possible manifestations of demon spirits that may occur and provides guidance when directly communicating with them. Finally, it shares recommended steps for a person to maintain their freedom after the demon spirits have departed and provides basic warnings and guidelines regarding spiritual warfare.
In-person classes are available in four formats. Format or class location can be adjusted for the convenience of students and based on the number of people enrolled for the class. If you are interested in hosting a training class or conference let us know!
God has been teaching me how as Christians we are empowered by Jesus Christ to overcome the powers of darkness. My husband Bruce and I have been working on a curriculum to educate Christians about the spiritual battles that happen every day all around us. We are hoping these lessons will likewise empower women and deepen their bond with Jesus Christ.
This half-day women’s conference is a great beginning point in learning about spiritual warfare. This conference focuses on “Breaking Sin Bondages” and the “Armor of God.” I feel personally these topics are the most relevant for me as a woman in today’s world.
In Breaking Sin Bondages, you will learn the difference between the penalty of sin and the power of sin. We will explore the requirements to receive God’s offer of a pardon and how sin bondages are developed and the steps to break those bondages. In the Armor of God, you will learn how each piece can be practically used to defend against attacks by the enemy.
We are committed to provide a sound biblical and balanced understanding of spiritual warfare that explores complex elements with practicality and compassion. Learning to recognize the works of the enemy in your life and how to effectively stand against him will transform your spiritual life. We hope you leave this conference with many of your questions answered and equipped to battle in the unseen demonic realm.
We invite you to participate in this journey with us and learn how you too can fight back.
